What material is used for the utensils?

Our products are FDA approved and BPA free. The food-grade silicone used for these utensils are non-toxic, unscented and highly durable. This allows the utensils to be heat resistant of up to 230 degrees. 

Do the utensils stain?

These utensils are not easily stained. When purchasing any utensil sets (if it is not black) when using strong ingredients like tomato paste or turmeric we can not guarantee that they will not alter. To avoid staining the lighter coloured sets, we recommend not leaving them for too long in pastes and sauces. Then to rinse them shortly after using them.  

We have tested them and in many of the instances they did not change at all. 

Even so, we found that if they were left in the paste or sauce for too long and not washed shortly after, this did have an effect on them. 

Note: If you do notice a change we recommend using Jif to clean them. 

Are the utensils dishwasher safe?

We recommend to hand wash the utensils. Although the silicone is safe to clean using the dishwasher, it is not good to place wood in the dishwasher.

We don’t not sell utensils or holders individually. They are sold as a set.
